Senior Safety Check In

Safeguard Visit (30 min) : This includes personal safety checks, fall or accident prevention, observe appearance and demeanour, monitor medications, check room temperatures, fire hazards.

Home Safety Check: Identifying potential hazards that could cause an accident, checking smoke/carbon monoxide alarms, emergency escape plans, telephone safety, walking services (making sure there are no tripping hazards). Lighting/visibility, outlet checks GFCI (ground, fault, circuit, interrupter - protecting from electrical shocks), kitchen and living room inspection including chimney, bathroom checks (slip-resistant, ect) Setting water heater to appropriate temperature and more.

Scheduling trusted professionals to come check fuel based appliances such as boilers, furnaces, fire places, wood stoves and water heaters, and chimneys - as well as electricians to check electrical panels and outlets for yearly inspections when necessary.

Pet Care

We know that pets are a special part of each family and want to create a space where you know they are well taken care of, our services include:

- Taking them to grooming/vet appointments

-picking up medications

- Dog walking/Feeding

- Cat check-ins and litter-box clean-up

*Overnight pet-sitting can be discussed via consultation
